Antioch Speedway has hosted weekly auto racing since 1961. Everything from $99 claimers to skinny (sportsmen) cars to late models & sprints have run there. The track currently has has the ALLPRO sanction banner guiding it's competitors, while in the past it also carried the NASCAR banner. John Soares Sr. was the 1st to promote events here and now years later his son John Jr. continutes the family tradition.  In a time where many tracks have closed, Antioch continues to provide weekly racing entertainment to thousands each year. We hope you enjoy these photos & stories from Antioch early years. Thanks for stopping by...DOK
